Thor: Love and Thunder, Will Jane Replace Thor as a Superhero?

Thor: Love and Thunder is Marvel’s fourth solo superhero film. The film, directed by Taika Waititi, is scheduled to premiere in theaters in June 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder will tell the adventures of Thor after leaving Earth to return to his galaxy.

Chris Hemsworth of course returns as God of Thunder in this video. The teaser opens with a scene where little Thor runs through the trees, the camera quickly follows and the boy transforms from a teenager to an adult.

“I need to find out who I really am,” Thor said to the iconic music of Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child o’ Mine.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. So in this trailer, we also get to see characters from Guardians of the Galaxy interact with Thor who joins their spaceship. It is told that Thor is trying to heal from the loss of Asgards and the events after Thanos wiped out half of all living things in the universe.

There, Thor begins to find out what he really wants and what he will do next. He had said his days as a hero were over. The trailer shows the reunion between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and his girlfriend, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman).

Jane is predicted to be the successor to Thor who is called Mighty Thor because she has made sacrifices. Lady Thor caught the hammer with a swift pose. His appearance is very much like Thor’s: a battle suit complete with long red “Superman wings”, unusually muscular arm muscles, and a mask that partially covers his face.

Thor’s look of surprise can’t be hidden when he sees Jane in a superhero costume and can lift her magic hammer.

So, how’s it going? What will happen to their relationship? Wait for the answer in the film Thor: Love and Thunder which will premiere in theaters in June 2022.
