Pluto TV users can now stream the programs on Fios TV One and Amazon Fire TV devices. If you are using one of these devices, you can enjoy your favourite TV shows and movies without changing inputs on your TV. In this post, we will share with you how to stream Pluto TV on Fios TV and Amazon Fire TV Verizon devices.
Before we jump to the tutorial, we would like to share that there are some changes to the programs in Pluto TV. You can check on this post to know what channels that change: NEW! How to Stream Pluto TV on Fios TV and Amazon Fire TV Verizon Devices
Now, let’s learn how to stream Pluto TV on Fios TV and Amazon Fire TV
1. Fios TV
What Fios TV models that support Pluto TV? Unfortunately, not all Fios TV models support Pluto TV. Here is the list of Fios TV that you can use to stream Pluto TV:
- Fios TV One
- Fios TV One Mini
- VMS1100
- IPC1100
In the other hands, Pluto TV is not supported on the following devices:
- QIP series set-top boxes (2xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx)
- CHS series set-top boxes (CHSxxx)
- DCT700
- MCARD/SCARD
If you are using one of the devices above, we suggest you to upgrade your devices to be able to watch Pluto TV.
Now, here are the requirements you must fulfill in order to watch Pluto TV on your Fios TV:
- Fios internet service
- Fios TV Set-top Box
When all the preparation has been completed, let’s learn on how to stream Pluto TV on Fios TV:
- Use the voice remote on Fios TV One or Fios TV One Mini and say “Pluto TV” or “Tune to 839”.
- Go to Channel 839
- For VMS1100 and IPC1100, press the Widgets “+” button on the remote control.
- Press Menu on the remote control. Navigate to Widgets & Apps and press OK. Find Pluto TV on the Widget Carousel.

2. Stream TV with Fios Internet
Verizon Stream TV (Android TV) box
Your Android OS should be Android TV 8.0 or higher.
Finding Pluto TV on Stream TV
After starting up the device for the first time (initial boot state), you can find the Pluto TV app in the following rails:

If you did not add Pluto TV at device launch, there are two ways to add Pluto TV:
- Use Voice Search – Just say “Find Pluto TV” and the app should return in results
- Text Search – Type ‘Pluto TV’
3. Amazon Fire TV Verizon co-branded version
Fire TV 4K Ultra HD Stick
- Operating System: Fire OS 6 or higher
- Go to Settings/My Fire TV/About/Fire TV Stick 4K for minimum requirements
Fire TV Cube (Gen 2)
- Operating System: Fire OS 7 or higher
- Go to Settings/My Fire TV Cube/About/Fire TV Cube for minimum requirements
Finding Pluto TV on Fire TV
After booting up the device for the first time (initial boot state) and registering the Fire TV Stick / Fire TV Cube with Verizon co-branding to Amazon, you can find the Pluto TV app in the following places:
Home screen
- Home screen (note: will only show on “Your Apps and Channels” rail IF you downloaded Pluto TV app at the initial device launch
My Verizon tab
- VZ Featured (large rotating banner at top of page)
- Verizon Apps – special Verizon curated rail featuring Verizon’s favorite apps
